A project sponsored by the Tablelands Farming Systems (TFS) group and funded by Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) is investigating some new legumes that may prove useful on local farms.
Helena is coordinating the project which will have four trial sites plus a couple of sites where these legumes have been sown in recent years.
The trial is a farmer participatory project which is designed to answer questions that have been raised by local farmers. A number of local farmers have provided valuable comments and suggestions to assist the project.
